Refund policy

Return and Refund Policy

All merchandise sold by Elegant Formals is final sale (no returns/refunds/exchanges)
We do not accept refunds or returns, except in the following limited cases:

Eligible Exceptions

  1. Damaged or Defective Items
    If your item arrives damaged or defective, we will accept the item for re-inspection to determine the best course of action.

  2. Incorrect Item Delivered
    If you receive the wrong item (e.g., incorrect style, color, size), you may request a return.

Please note, if your dress has been incorrectly ordered by you and not the vendor, the return will not be accepted.

Reporting a Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Item

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, you must email us within 2 days of delivery at orders@elegantformals.com

Your email must include:

  • Order number

  • Photos/videos of the item

  • Photos/videos of the shipping box and packaging condition

  • A detailed description of the damage or incorrect shipment

This information is required for us to file your claim.

DropShip Vendor Review Process

Because all online orders are processed as dropship, your case will be reviewed by the vendor’s support team.

  • The vendor will respond to us within 3–5 business days after the claim is submitted.

  • If the case qualifies as an approved damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we will issue a prepaid return label at no cost to you.

  • The item must be returned to the vendor for review to see if they will accept the return or not.

Refund After Vendor Approval

Once the vendor receives and fully processes your return, and the item qualifies under their conditions, you will receive a refund for your order

Refunds usually take 10 business days to return to your original payment method. 

If you do not see your refund within 15 business days, please reach out to us via email at info@elegantformals.com

Conditions That Void a Return

Upon inspection, if the vendor determines that the item has been:

  • Worn

  • Altered

  • Tampered with

  • Damaged through use

  • Missing tags or original condition

  • Stained
  • Scents (Fragrance or Smell)

Your return will be voided, and the item will be shipped back to you. 

Order Changes

  • Orders can only be changed before they are processed with the vendor.

  • Please make sure you have confirmed your size, color, style, and shipping address before submitting your order.

  • Once an order has been processed with the vendor, no changes can be made.

  • If you notice any mistakes on your order, please contact us immediately via email at orders@elegantformals.com with the correct information so we can make the changes before it is processed with the vendor.

Canceled Orders

  • Orders can only be canceled before processing.

  • Once the order is processed and/or shipped, it cannot be canceled.
